The Department of Languages, Cultures and Visual Studies leads major research projects funded by organisations such as the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the European Research Council, and the Leverhulme Trust. These projects allow us to develop our disciplines through recruitment of postdoctoral researchers, create national and international networks, produce collaborative outputs and translate our research into social and cultural impact.
