Translating Cultures
We work with our friends at Exeter UNESCO City of Literature to translate our research on languages and cultures into impact. We hosted Cities of Literature and associated creatives in July 2023 – these collaborations have already contributed to a PEN Translates award for Dr Katie Brown’s translation of Alejandra Banca’s From Savagery (forthcoming summer 2024), and Dr Richard Mansell’s 2024 AHRC-Impact Accelerator Account award to host the Catalan writer Sebastià Portell in Exeter in summer 2024.
