Dr Loreto Romero

I am a Lecturer in Spanish specialising in Medieval Iberian textual culture, with particular emphasis on premodern sexualities and the development of Queer Theory as informed by medieval studies. Before joining the University of Exeter, I held positions at the University of Oxford, where I am an Honorary Research Fellow, and completed my PhD at the University of Virginia. I also serve as the current Year Abroad Officer for Spanish and Treasurer of the AHGBI (The Association of Hispanists of Great Britain and Ireland). https://hispanists.org.uk/
