Ms Sarah Roberts

Sarah Roberts, the Pastoral Mentor for the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies, proactively engages with undergraduate and postgraduate students to enhance their university experience and success. By bridging gaps between university services, she prioritizes student wellbeing, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Sarah promotes a culture of mutual support, respect, and compassion through individualized guidance. She collaborates with the Peter Chalk Hub, Education Welfare Team, and IAIS Academics to develop action plans and academic support systems, aiming to improve student attendance and engagement, and to create an inclusive, supportive, and accessible academic community.
