Juanita Navarro Paez

I have a BA in Media and Communications and a BA in Language Teaching from Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), and an MLitt in Comparative Literature from the University of Glasgow. I am currently a PhD candidate in Art History and Visual Culture. My research project is part of the Shame and Medicine Project, funded by the Wellcome Centre for Cultures and Environments of Health, and it focuses on how shame and shaming in medicine are represented through comics from an intersectional perspective.
